Jadunath Haldar Putul Natch Opera is one of the oldest active rod puppet groups in West Bengal. They mainly perform from the epics and Puranas, but now also perform animal stories from the Panchatantra as well as social themes. The group has performed at Festival of India, USSR and at national festivals in India.
