Bijoy Krishna Ruidas is a talented young traditional folk drum maker, whose home we stopped at, as we travelled around Purulia during Sohrai. He offered us tea and explained facets of madol making, while we watched in fascination, as his wife prepared the "gab" tuning paste for the madols.
