Remembering Balaram Hajra, the dhol wizard who passed away on April 10, 2018. Recipient of numerous awards, the dhol maestro was an extraordinary musician who could practically make his beats "talk". This video was shot at Rabindra Bharati University on the final day of a workshop on folk instruments of North Bengal organized by the West Bengal State Akademi of Dance Drama Music and Visual Arts, Rabindra Bharati University, and the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre .
