The Dasae songs and dances of the Santals are unique rituals associated with the transfer of knowledge. Dasae is performed during Durga Puja. The clip contains snippets from a workshop conducted by Anthropological Survey of India at Lakshmipur, Birbhum and from a performance at Shantiniketan, Birbhum.
