Sing Sadom is a dance that was on the verge of extinction, until recently. It has been revived in a few Santal villages in West Bengal and Jharkhand. It is specially performed by Santal men at weddings. The documentation shows the crafting of the Sing Sadom (Day Horse) and the performance by the members of the Sagun Thili Gounta group from Bhurkundabari, Neturia, Purulia. Special thanks go to those who enabled this documentation - Laxmikanta Hembram, Shyam Sundar Mandi, Sokol Soren, Ramchand Mandi and Lakkhiram Mandi Videography : Ratnaboli Bose, Sankhadeep Banerjee ; Song by Barilal Murmu
