Wooden doll making is a craft that is gradually vanishing from the villages of West Bengal, though the wooden owl tradition continues to be popular in Natungram, which is considered to be a hub.Tarak Sutradhar and his brothers are the only artisans in Senara in Purulia who still carry on this tradition.
